Simple Shepherd's pie

  A simplified twist on an old favorite.
Ingredients:
  1 lb   ground beef
  1 can   mixed vegetables
  1   meduim onion, diced
  1 Container   Mashed potatoes (or 2 pkg instant, prepared)
  2 cups   shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  1 can   Campbell's golden mushroom soup
  1/2 can   water
    Parmasean cheese
Directions:
  Brown ground beef and onion with salt and pepper to taste, drain and add vegetables, soup and water. Let simmer until heated through then place in a large greased casserole dish. Mix potatoes and cheddar cheese. Spoon over meat mixture and spread to cover. Sprinkle with parmasean cheese and bake 30 minutes at 350 then broil until browned.
